Ingredients:

  • 12 oz smoked kielbasa, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
  • 16 oz frozen pierogies
  • 14 oz bag of coleslaw mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or corn, vegetable, or canola oil)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat a large frying pan with sides (at least 3 inches high) over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and butter.
  2. Once the butter has melted, add the chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until softened.
  3. Add the bag of coleslaw mix, stir well, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
